Our SRC is a group of students from Years 2-6 elected by their fellow students, along with the Year 6 School Leadership Team. The SRC members represent the students in the school and organise ways for students to participate and contribute to their school community.
SRC members attend meetings held fortnightly on Friday. The school council plan many events during the year to help raise money for varying charities and projects that are important to the SRC.
An effective SRC is:
Students develop skills in leadership and communication
Every student should have a voice
Students solve real problems and make real decisions
Students share with the school executive , teachers and the school community in the decision making
Students care about their school and what happens in it and to it
Students experience enjoyment through successful participation
