Samuel Gilbert has a school canteen run by the P&C Association. The P&C employs two Supervisors who are assisted by volunteer helpers. The canteen operates five days per week where students can order lunch and purchase healthy snacks and drinks at recess and lunchtime.
Lunches can be ordered by writing the child’s name, class and order on a paper bag and including the correct money (change will be given if needed). These bags are put in the canteen basket in the classrooms at the start of the day. Lunch baskets are then returned to class at the beginning of lunchtime for students to collect.
Our canteen now has an online ordering and payment system.
For details on how to register visit the website - www.munchmonitor.com - and start ordering now.
The canteen always needs volunteers to support our Supervisors. If you are able and willing to help, please phone the school to speak to one of the Supervisors. Volunteer helpers are a vital part of our canteen’s operation and your help will be greatly appreciated.
